Abstract

Solar radiation is becoming increasingly appreciated because of its influence on living matter and the feasibility of its application for useful purposes. It is a perpetual source of natural energy that along with other forms of renewable energy. Solar energy is the derived from the sun through the form of solar radiation. To estimate the sun energy, the irradiance (W/m2) with time will be recorded. For accurate total radiation measurement, expensive pyranometer is use. The aim of this work is to develop a simple and cheap solar recorder system that manages to measure the solar intensity by using a cheap solar cell. This device will be built with the microcontroller, LCD display and Bluetooth module. The devices will be able to recorded data and transfer to the PC via Bluetooth.
