Aims: The Journal of Nautical Eye and Strategic Studies (J-NESS) aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of research and scholarship related to global maritime and strategic studies. The journal fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together academic and professional expertise to address critical issues surrounding our aquatic resources, maritime economy, security, and geopolitics. J-NESS seeks to raise awareness and drive informed discussion on the sustainable development of coastal communities, blue economy initiatives, marine resource management, and the geopolitical and economic dynamics influencing maritime regions, particularly within the Indo-Pacific and Indian Ocean territories. Scope: The Journal of Nautical Eye and Strategic Studies (J-NESS) covers a broad range of interdisciplinary topics related to maritime affairs, geopolitical dynamics, and strategic studies. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, the following key areas: Blue Economy and Sustainable Development Maritime Security and Surveillance Geopolitical and Geo-economic Dynamics Strategic Maritime Studies Marine Environmental Challenges Maritime Transport and Infrastructure Fisheries and Aquaculture Socio-economic and Psychosocial Impacts Policy and Strategic Analysis J-NESS welcomes both theoretical and empirical research, case studies, and policy reviews that contribute to a deeper understanding of the maritime domain, particularly those that provide actionable insights and solutions for current and emerging global challenges.
