Abstract

Athar Al Sanadeed is the main work of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan on the historical buildings and personalities of Delhi. Its first edition was published in 1847, but then a few years later in 1854, the author   published it with a new arrangement and a new text. As Atar al-Sanadid is the work of Sir Syed's early age .his research and criticism The study also throws considerable light on his formative period and gives an opportunity to see how the writer's thoughts and tendencies changed under the changing circumstances and demands of life.
A few questions are very important regarding Athar Al Sanadid. For example, why did Sir Syed feel the need to bring out a completely changed edition of it just a few years later? Or what is the main reason for the simple and difficult style of writing in the first publication? And in this regard, how far is the commitment of Imam Bakhsh Sahbai's support correct? I have tried to find answers to such questions avoiding personal prejudices. The last two publications of Athar al-Sanadid will be the subject of my assignment.
