Abstract

Human beings are divided on the basis of their gender into male and female. This division of gender is termed as binary division. Science verifies this division on the basis of sex chromosomes that are different in male and female. Female has two XX chromosome while male has on X and One Y chromosome. This binary division is challenged by L.G.B.T.Q+ agenda who argues in the concept of fluidity of gender. This research article will focus to explore the concept of transgender in Islamic, scientific and also L.G.B.T.Q+ context. The status of gender transformation being permissible or not permissible will be further discussed in Islamic perspective regarding transgender and Intersex individuals. The health issues due to the un-natural life style of transgender will be also discussed.
