Abstract

Majlis e Tarraqi Adab is an academic and literary institution of Pakistan based in Lahore, which works under the Punjab government, with the aim of publishing compilations and translations on Urdu classical literature and humanities. This institution was established in July 1954. The current moderator of this institution is Abbas Tabish, a prominent poet of Urdu. The academic journal of this institution is published under the name of Saheefa which has been published continuously since 1957.
