Abstract

This research investigates the jurisprudential approach of the Federal Shariah Court within the Pakistani legal system. Key objectives include exploring the court's guiding principles, analyzing its composition and structure, and examining the implementation of Shariah principles in its procedures and decisions. By addressing the question of how Shariah principles are applied within the Pakistani legal framework, this study aims to elucidate the concurrences and disparities between Shariah jurisprudence and the legal system. Employing a qualitative research methodology involving literature review, analysis of court decisions, and interviews with legal experts, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the interaction between Shariah jurisprudence and the legal framework in Pakistan.
