God has created human beings for His worship because worship teaches a man obedience and infuses in him the spirit of morality. It also creates purity and cleanliness in his nature. As a result, God is pleased and blesses him with rewards and places him in proximity. This thing revolutionizes a man inwardly. Consequently, he begins to despise vices and sins and forbids others to commit such acts. The purpose of worshipping should be to be thankful to God and to seek His forgiveness. There are many religions in this world and every religion worships God according to their beliefs so that it may seek God’s happiness. In Judaism, worship of God holds very prominent place. The Jews worship God individually and collectively in their own ways. The purpose of their worship is to confess their sins, to seek forgiveness and to be thankful to God. The purity of soul is very important in Jews so that they may obtain heaven and this purification is gained through worship. Jews thinks that, ignoring  of worship is one of the greatest sins. Therefore, all the actions of a Jew, from dawn to dusk, conform to his religion. It means he spends his whole life by worshipping God.
