Abstract

Review writing in Urdu was introduced as a new geree in 19th country. Criticism in “Urdu abed” was initiated because of this art. But it got neglected completely. This art has got more strength as the world has taken the farm of a global village. Strenuous efforts have been made regarding “review writing in Urdu” in India. Whereas in Pakistan, no appreciable importance is given to this art. Positive goals could be achieved using this art so it is inevitable to raise its importance. Maulvi Abdul-Haq initiated “review writing” in Pakistan. A few specific journals could keep its integrity & some review & writers also, who work in an extra ordinary way.
