Abstract

Dr. Muhammad Ali Ṣābūnī was a famous Scholar of Tafseer and Usool Tafseer. He had born in Syria in 1930 and had enjoyed 90 years long life. He spent all his time in teaching and writing the books. He wrote a Tafseer (Commentary) of the Holy Quran named’’Safwa-tul-Tafaseer. This is a contemporary Tafsir written especially to suit the needs of the layman. Easy to understand, excellent for someone who wants to learn Arabic. Every section discusses the Asbab Nuzuul, literary meanings, commentary, linguistic (Balaghah) points, and other beneficial material. In this article the linguistic (Balaghah) points of this Tafseer are discussed.
