Abstract

On contrary to the people of ancient societies- who lacked the ability to be trustees of eternal divine law (Shariah) because they used to rely only on their senses- as human perception progressed to a higher level, they were given the eternal divine rule in the form of the Quran- Allah's greatest outstanding miracle. One of the remarkable features of Quran is that it is scientific. The guidance of Quran is eternal and science also keeps coming up with new discoveries. In such a situation, question arises how important and essential is the interpretation of Quran according to the modern scientific revelations? In this regard, a comparative and descriptive research study has been conducted to clarify recent scientific breakthroughs and discoveries in Quran interpretation. The research addresses many modern mind questions. The paper is also a respond to the Quranic call of attention to the signs found on the earth and in the skies in order for man to contemplate them, have faith in Him. We also come across that we don't even have to resort to interpretations in many places rather we can translate the verses in straight and simple way.
