Nibras is a double-blind، peer-reviewed, tri-lingual (Arabic, English, Urdu), open-access journal that is published bi-annually by the Department of Fiqh and Shariah at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The significance of Islamic education has increased to a great extent in the modern-day world. Many religious, econocical, philosphical, educational, and spiritual issues have become complex for the common man. Answers to these and many other such issues can only be sought out in practical research in Islamic education. The Journal is playing a significant role in developing indigenous research approaches through its research innovations, which consequently will help improve the process of understanding Islamic values. One of the reasons behind publishing this journal was to promote the process of research in which resolutions can be found to the problems that are being faced by society today. Nibras interprets Islamic thoughts in the context of intellectual and advanced scientific approaches. Having intellectual thoughts and scientific approaches side by side, this journal can help in enhancing the true meaning and spirit of Islam. One of the most vicious and harmful elements, that is being raised in a society is the idea that Islam promotes extremism. This journal aims to minimize such types of false interpretations of Islam.
