Viper IFV:
At IDEAS 2018 Pakistan introduced its first-ever homegrown Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) called Viper. The IFV is equipped with an ATGM mount with a provision for 2X ATGMs. Its unmanned, remote-controlled turret features a 30mm main gun and 12.7mm Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS). It is well protected by Sloped armour and carries a state of art sensors & Optical suite. The C4ISR enabled IFV is developed by Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT).
Hamza:
The HAMZA 8x8 is a new vehicle fully designed and developed by the Pakistani Company Blitzkrieg to response to the new needs of the Pakistani army. The vehicle showed at IDEAS 2016 is the second prototype and the HAMZA will be tested on the field in the next few months. The hull of the HAMZA 8x8 provides standard protection Level 4 STANAG 4569, with ballistic protection against firing of small arms 14.5 mm calibre and mine blast of 10 kg of TNT under the wheels. The vehicle can be fitted with an armour package to increase the protection to Level 5 STANAG 4569.
Interceptor:
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) — a defence industrial complex which manufactures and rebuilds tanks and armoured personnel carriers for the military — will manufacture six “Interceptors” for the Bahrain National Guards. Unveiled at IDEC 2017 defence exhibition in Bahrain, the 4x4 vehicle is based on a commercial Toyota chassis and designed for security purposes. Heavy Industries Taxila offers two levels of protection to be placed on the chassis: a B6 or B7 armoured capsule. The Gulf region has been targeted for the design, as there is a constant demand. North Africa appears to also interesting for the marketing of the “Interceptor”.
GIDS IBMs:
Integrated Battlefield Management System (IBMS) is designed for the operations of amour units in the field to meet the requirements of the future battlefield. The user-friendly system provides battlefield awareness through comprehensive land navigation system based on GPS and digitized maps. It enables commanders in mission planning, modification and dissemination of plans, monitoring of battlefield at the tactical and operational level, through the safe and secure radio network. Pak-IBMS(Rehbar) also facilitates commanders in the remote firing of AAMG by auto-tracking the aerial and ground targets from inside the tank.
