جی ائی کیو انسٹی ٹیوٹ پاکستان میں اعلیٰ معیار کی انجینئرنگ کی تعلیم فراہم کرنے کے مقصد کے ساتھ قائم کیا گیا تھا۔ ملک کی ترقی میں نمایاں کردار ادا کرنے والے غلام اسحاق خان کے اعزاز میں اس کا نام رکھا گیا تھا۔

یہ ادارہ ٹوپی، صوابی ضلع، خیبر پختونخواہ، پاکستان میں واقع ہے۔ ایک خوبصورت دیہی علاقے میں اس کا مقام سیکھنے اور تحقیق کے لیے سازگار ماحول فراہم کرتا ہے۔ GIK انسٹی ٹیوٹ بنیادی طور پر انجینئرنگ، سائنس اور ٹیکنالوجی کے مختلف شعبوں میں انڈرگریجویٹ اور پوسٹ گریجویٹ پروگرام پیش کرتا ہے۔ کچھ بڑے مضامین میں الیکٹریکل انجینئرنگ، مکینیکل انجینئرنگ، کمپیوٹر سائنس، سول انجینئرنگ، اور میٹریل انجینئرنگ شامل ہیں۔

GIK Institute was founded with the goal of providing high-quality engineering education in Pakistan. It was named in honor of Ghulam Ishaq Khan, who played a significant role in the country's development.

The institute is situated in Topi, Swabi District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Its location in a scenic rural area provides an environment conducive to learning and research. GIK Institute primarily offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields of engineering, science, and technology. Some of the major disciplines include electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, civil engineering, and materials engineering.
