Since time immemorial there has been conflict between religion and science. During the Dark Ages entire Europe was under the stranglehold of the Roman Catholic Church due to which intellect, logic and science couldn't prosper there. However, in the 17th Century tables started to turn when the leaders of Europe realized that they had to separate religion from the affairs of the state. This one decision triggered the age of enlightenment in entire Europe during which they rediscovered their identity and the meaning of life. This is what I have discussed in today's video.
