Sequel to a successful conduct of last year's Quiz Competition, this year, Pehchan Pakistan Quiz Show was again held under the auspices of ISPR in collaboration with PTV. The Quiz Show was designed to enhance knowledge / awareness of our younger generation about Pakistan Movement and the genesis of our historic struggle for independence.

It was a National Level Quiz Competition amongst young academic achievers of Pakistan.

Syllabus was based on extracts from the Book: Foundational Thoughts of Pakistan Movement, compiled by ISPR from the extracts of Struggle & Creation of Pakistan, written by Dr. Riaz Ahmed.

9 teams comprising 3 highest academic achievers of Class 9th from Federal Directorate of Education, all provincial Education Boards including GB, AJ&K, FGEI and All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF) participated in the competition.

The Quiz Show comprised of four segments.

Segment 1 was centered around War of Independence 1857 and earlier period’s questions.
In Segment 2, questions were asked from the Pakistan Movement. Members were not allowed to consult each other.
In Segment 3, different quotes related to Pakistan Movement were displayed on screen and questions were asked. In this segment, participants were allowed to consult each other and respond within a limited time.
In Segment 4, questions were asked from the complete era (1857 – 1947) in a rapid-fire mode and each team had to press a buzzer to answer.
Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Quiz Show was held at ISPR.
Prizes were awarded to all the participants including Consolation Prizes besides the Winners by Begum COAS.
First position was secured by Team from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Teams from Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan both remained Runners Up.

The Winners were awarded Trophy, medals and books besides Core i7 laptops, while Runners Up teams were awarded shields and Core i7 laptops. Other participants were also awarded tabs and books.
