Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) has announced the list of recognized universities offering Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree programs in the country. The list is also published in daily newspapers for the guidance of the students and parents. PVMC has announced that some of the Government and Private universities are offering non-recognized DVM programs.

Students who complete their degree from a non-recognized institution, will not be able to get himself/herself registered with the veterinary council. The degrees of such students will not be recognized and they will not be able to get a job as a Veterinary Doctor in any of the public or private sector organization.
