1. Differentiate f(x)+g(x) and f(x)-g(x)

4. Find an equation of a tangent line to the graph of a function at the particular point in the following functions:

d. f(x)= x/(x-2) at (3,3)

5. For a thin lens of constant focal length P, the object distance x and the image distance y are related by the formula : 1/x + 1/y = 1/p
a. Solve the above equation for y in terms of x and P
b. Determine the rate of change of y with respect to x
