Dr. Arshad Ahmad is the first recipient from South Asia to receive the Leadership Award presented at the prestigious CASE Asia-Pacific Advancement Conference in Melbourne, Australia.
The conference was attended by 400 participants from 11 countries, including Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and the Middle East. Of the thirteen global awards, LUMS received four, including the Circle of Excellence Silver Award, the Best of CASE Asia-Pacific Awards, and the Leadership Award that recognises outstanding efforts to promote education and institutional advancement.
Reflecting on the award, Dr. Ahmad said, “The CASE Leadership Award will always belong to exceptionally talented students across Pakistan, and the extraordinary faculty and staff who teach and support them. I’m privileged to be part of the community that is one of the best-kept secrets of the Global South.”
