welcome to candle academy Pakistan. in this tutorial lecture Maxwell equations explained.

in early 19 century different units of the charge were used in electrostatics and electromagnetism. these units have different physical dimensions but their ratio gave the units of velocity. when calculated with the numerical value its magnitude was equal to velocity of light, scientist thought that it was extraordinary coincidence. but match Maxwell started researching on this phenomena and found that four basic equations of electromagnetism can be written in compact form. which is now known as maxwell's equations. these equations were:

1. guass's law of electrostatics
2. guass's law of magnetism
3. Faraday's law of electromagnetic
induction.
4. ampere Maxwell law.

study of these equations explained the generation of electromagnetic waves. Maxwell concluded that nature of light is electromagnetic.
