Description

PROBLEM NO 13
A string, 1-m long, would break when its tension is 69.6N. Find the greatest speed at which a ball of mass 2 kg can be whirled with the string in vertical circle.

PROBLEM NO 14
An artillery cannon is pointed upward at an angle 35° with respect to the horizontal and fires a projectile with an initial velocity of 200 m/s. If the air resistance is negligible, find (i) the maximum height reached by the projectile (ii) the range of the projectile.

PROBLEM NO 15
A ball of mass 200g is tied to the end of a string and whirled in a horizontal circle of radius 0.4m. If the ball makes 10 complete revolutions in 4 seconds, determine the linear speed, centripetal acceleration and centripetal force.
