Virtual University of Pakistan has announced today on learning management system that midterm exam 2020 will not be conducted. Special exam for Grand quiz will be conducted in place of mid term fall 2020 exam. In previous spring 2020 VU did not conduct midterm exam cancelled the exam due to coronavirus and pandemic situation and conducted home based brand in place of Virtual University midterm exam.

Due to the prevailing COVID - 19 Pandemic, the Virtual University of Pakistan has decided that an online “Mid Term Quiz / Special Assignment” will be conducted in lieu of Mid Term Examinations for the Fall 2020 semester.

Please note the followings:

1. The date sheet schedule for “Mid Term Quiz / Special Assignment” will be published after December 16, 2020.
2. “Mid Term Quiz / Special Assignment” will be conducted between December 26, 2020, to January 10, 2021.
Due to current Corona virus Pandemic situation across our country, we had decided that there will be a slight change in Course Assessment Scheme. Earlier we had Midterm & Final term exams but, in this semester, we will conduct #Quiz_based activity for #Midterm Examination (Fall2020). Our course assessment scheme is already shared through Grading Scheme tab on your Course LMS.
Syllabus for final term exam is same, 25% from lectures 1-22 and 75% from lectures 23-45. Mid-term exam is replaced by a Grand Quiz (probably will consists of 40-45 MCQs, depending on the subject). The date of the Final-term exam is not finalized yet.
