Description

Today, a meeting of Public Accounts Committee-II was held at the Punjab Assembly under the leadership of Chairperson Syed Ali Haider Gillani, MPA. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Livestock And Dairy Development Department, Punjab with his subordinates. The DG Audit was also present at the meeting.
Audit paras discussed in the meeting related to: non-production of payroll; irregular procurement of medicines without advertisement uploaded on the PPRA website; less recovery of income tax on services; insurance claims of Rs. 1.8 million pending against the insurance company; record relating to the tendering process adopted for procurement of livestock; non-recovery/deposit of outstanding amount of Rs. 10.63 million; and non-production of record of amount Rs. 1,613.380 million.
These Audit paras were briefed to the committee by the Secretary of the L&DD Department, and the committee gave direction to the Secretary to ensure the recoveries of the remaining paragraphs on a priority basis.

اجلاس میں زیر بحث آڈٹ پیراز سے متعلق معاملات درج ذیل تھے: تنخواہ کے ریکارڈ کی غیر پیشی، پی پی آر اے ویب سائٹ پر اشتہار اپلوڈ کیے بغیر ادویات کی غیر باقاعدہ خریداری، خدمات پر انکم ٹیکس کی کم وصولی،انشورنس کمپنی کے خلاف 1.8 ملین روپے کے انشورنس کلیمز زیر التوا؛ لائیوسٹاک کی خریداری کے لیے اختیار کیے گئے ٹینڈرنگ عمل سے متعلق ریکارڈ، 10.63 ملین روپے کی بقایا رقم کی عدم وصولی/جمع کروانے، اور 1,613.380 ملین روپے کی رقم کے ریکارڈ کی غیر پیشی۔
ان آڈٹ پیراز کو لائیوسٹاک اینڈ ڈیری ڈیولپمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ، پنجاب کے سیکرٹری نے کمیٹی کو بریف کیا، اور کمیٹی نے سیکرٹری کو ہدایت دی کہ وہ باقی پیراگراف کی وصولیوں کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر یقینی بنائیں۔
