Mohammad Rizwan Holds Virtual Media Conference After Day Three | PCB

Azhar Ali’s unbeaten century helped Pakistan make a slight recovery as they were bowled out for 273 in their first innings at close of play on day three of the third ICC World Test Championship fixture against England at the Ageas Bowl Southampton on Sunday. Pakistan conceded a 310-run lead and were asked to follow-on by England captain Joe Root.

On Sunday, resuming at the overnight score of 24 for three in reply to England’s first innings score of 583 for eight declared, Pakistan owed their defiance to captain Azhar who remained unbeaten on 141, he faced 272 balls and hit 21 fours in his innings.

Azhar added 138 runs for the sixth wicket with wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan who scored 53 off 113 balls. James Anderson took five wickets for 56 runs.

After stumps, Rizwan held a virtual media conference. The audio and video files of his interaction are available here.
