Sayyiduna Amr bin Absa Salmi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever stands for ablution with the intention of prayer and carries the water of ablution to his places, then he is free from his sins or mistakes. goes, then if he stands up for prayer, then Allah raises his status and if he sits down, then he sits down free from sins.

سیدنا عمرو بن عبسہ سلمیؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌ نے فرمایا: جو نمازکے ارادے سے وضو کے لیے کھڑا ہوتا ہے اور وضو کے پانی کو اس کے مقامات تک پہنچاتا ہے تو وہ اپنے گناہوں یا غلطیوں سے پاک ہو جاتا ہے، پھر اگر وہ نماز کے لیے کھڑا ہوتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا درجہ بلند کر دیتا ہے اور اگر وہ بیٹھ جاتا ہے تو گناہوں سے پاک ہو کر بیٹھتا ہے۔
