Description

On the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Waqid Laithi, he said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, when three people passed by, one of them turned around and saw an empty space inside the assembly. Curr sat there, another person sat behind the people and the third left. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Shall I not tell you about these three people? The Companions said: Why not, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The person who sat in front took his place and Allah gave him a place. He was ashamed and the person who went away, then he rejected and Allah also rejected him.

It was narrated from Sayyidina Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: As long as I leave you, you also leave me. Whatever I forbid you, refrain from it, and whatever I command, do it to the best of your ability.

سیدنا ابو واقد لیثی ؓ سے روایت ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں: ہم رسول اللہ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌ کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے، وہاں سے تین افراد کا گزر ہوا، ان میں سے ایک فرد متوجہ ہوا اور مجلس کے اندر خالی جگہ دیکھ کر وہاں بیٹھ گیا، دوسرا فرد لوگوں کے پیچھے ہی بیٹھ گیا اور تیسرا چلا گیا۔ رسول اللہ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌ نے فرمایا: کیا میں تمہیں ان تین افراد کی بات بیان نہ کر دوں؟ صحابہ کرام نے کہا: کیوں نہیں، اے اللہ کے رسول! آپ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌ نے فرمایا: جو شخص آگے بڑھ کر بیٹھ گیا، اس نے جگہ لی اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کو جگہ دے دی، جو آدمی تمہارے پیچھے بیٹھ گیا، پس اس نے شرم محسوس کی اور اللہ تعالیٰ بھی اس سے شرما گیا اور جو فرد چلا گیا، پس اس نے اعراض کیا اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے بھی اس سے اعراض کیا۔

سیدنا ابو ہریرہؓ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌ نے فرمایا: جب تک میں تم کو چھوڑے رکھوں، تم بھی مجھے چھوڑے رکھو، تم سے پہلے والے لوگ کثرتِ سوال اور انبیاء پر اختلاف کرنے کی وجہ سے ہلاک ہو گئے، جس چیز سے میں تم کو منع کر دوں، اس سے باز آ جاؤ اور جس چیز کا حکم دے دوں، اس پر حسب ِ استطاعت عمل کرو۔
