(A true story of a leper, a blind man and a bald man-)
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said there were three people in the Children of Israel. One is a leper, another is blind and the third is bald. Allah Ta'ala intended to test them. So Allah sent an angel to them. The angel first came to the leper and asked him what do you like the most? He replied: Good color and fair skin because people avoid me. The angel touched him and his disease went away. It was done and its color also became beautiful and the skin also became good. The angel asked: What kind of property would you like more? He said: A camel. I will give the blessing. Then the angel came to the bald man and asked him what do you like? He said: May the fine hair and the present defect disappear from me because people avoid me because of it. The angel touched his head. But he turned his hand away and his defect disappeared and fine hair came instead. The angel asked: What kind of wealth would you like? He said: Cow The angel gave him a pregnant cow and said that Allah may bless her. Then an angel came to the blind man and said: What do you like? He said: May Allah give me the light of my eyes so that I can see people. The angel turned away his hand and Allah gave him back his sight. Then he asked: What kind of wealth would you like? He said: Goats The angel gave him a pregnant goat. Then the children of the three animals (camel, cow and goat) were born. Even leper camels filled his valley. Bald cows filled his valley and blind goats filled his valley. Then again the angel came to the leper in his first form and said: I am a very poor man. All the equipment and means of the journey have been exhausted and there is no hope of fulfilling the need from anyone except Allah, but I ask you through the One who gave you good color and good leather and wealth, the question of a camel. i do With which I can complete the journey. He said to the angel: I have rights and many more.
