Description

Hadhrat Tufail bin Amr Dusi came to Makkah. This tribe was the chieftain of the Dus and his family had a noble rule in Nawah Yemen. Tufail was himself a poet and a wise person. The people of Makkah went outside the population and welcomed him and served him with high level of service and humility. Tufail has his own statement that "the people of Makkah also told me that this person who has come out of us should avoid him. He has magic. By magic, he separates father, son, wife, husband, and brother." Our community has been disturbed and our name has been tarnished. We do not want any such trouble to happen to your people, so we strongly advise you not to go to him, not to listen to him and not to talk to him. He brought these things to my mind so well that when I wanted to go to the Kaaba, I used to cover my ears with cotton so that the voice of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would not fall into my ears. One day I went to the Kaaba in the morning. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was praying. Since it was God's will that his voice should reach my ears, I heard that he was reciting a very strange word. At that time, I began to blame myself. I myself am a poet, knowledgeable, distinguishing between good and bad. Then what is the reason? And what is the stop? That I should not listen to him. If it is good, I will accept it, otherwise, I stayed with this intention. When The Holy Prophet When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went back to the house, I also followed him and when I arrived at the house, I told the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) his story of coming to Makkah, seducing the people, staying in a trance and today something from the language of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He asked to be heard and asked me to tell him what I had to say. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) read the Qur'an. I had never heard such a pure word. Who would guide so much goodness and justice".
