Description

There is a hadith on the authority of Umm al-Darda, the wife of Hazrat Abu Al-Darda, who said, My husband Abu Al-Darda narrated to me that I heard from the Messenger of God, he used to narrate that Allah, the Exalted, said to Jesus: O Jesus! I will create after you an Ummah whose character will be that when they receive blessings according to their desire and desire, they will be filled with gratitude and glorify Allah, and when unpleasant circumstances befall them. If they do, they will receive them with patience and seek reward from Allah, even though they will not have (any special level of) tolerance and wisdom. Hazrat Isa (AS) said that if they do not have tolerance and wisdom, how will they be grateful in prosperity and patient in suffering? Allah Ta'ala said: I will give them a share of my mercy and my knowledge. (Sha'ab al-Iman for Bayhaqi)

Interpretation
It is a common weakness of human beings to be disappointed, heartbroken and overwhelmed in adversity, and to forget their real reality and God while being intoxicated in bliss and prosperity. This is what has been said in the Holy Qur'an: إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُواًا) - It is a distinction, one of the special spiritual attributes that Allah bestowed upon the common companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and the peaceable believers of later centuries, is that he endowed them with the wealth of patience and gratitude, and their The source of this patience and gratitude is not their rationality and breadth of knowledge, but the special grace of Allah Almighty that He has given some particles of His knowledge and patience to these servants, and this patience and gratitude are the fruits of it.
