Description

It is narrated from Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Qatada, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood between them and said: "The best of all deeds is to fight in the way of Allah and to believe in Allah." . A person stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, what do you think that if I am martyred in the way of Allah, will all my sins be erased?" The Messenger of Allah, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: "Yes! If you were martyred in the way of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, while you were patient, muhtasib (i.e. hoping for reward), going forward in battle and turning your back." If you do not turn back, all your sins will be erased. Then he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "What did you ask?" Will the sins be forgiven?'' He said: If you were martyred in the way of Allah, the Most High, while you were patient, muhtasib (i.e. those who hoped for reward), were going forward in battle and turned your backs and retreated. All your sins will be erased if you do not turn away. But the loan will not be waived. Gabriel, peace be upon him, told me this. "

On the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A generous servant is close to Allah (i.e., he has closeness to God) and he is close to the servants of Allah (i.e., the servant of Allah is close to him because of his generosity). relate to and love and cling to Him) and is close to Paradise and far from Hell. And the miserly and miserly person is far from Allah, that is, he is deprived of the blessings of God's closeness, he is also far from the servants of Allah (because because of his miserliness they are separated from Him) and far from Paradise and Hell. is nearer than, and without a doubt an ignorant benefactor is dearer to Allah than a pious miser. (Comprehensive Tirmidhi)

Interpretation
Generosity, that is, spending your earnings on others, and taking out the work of others is also a branch of mercy, just as avarice and miserliness, that is, not spending on others, and not working for others, is a branch of cruelty and hard-heartedness. There is a special case.
Maarif Hadith 259

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that a person complained to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about his hardness of heart. He said, "Turn your hand over the head of the orphan, and feed the poor." (Musnad Ahmad)

Interpretation
Hard-heartedness and hard-heartedness is a spiritual disease and a sign of human misery. The questioner asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about the condition of his heart and his soul, and sought treatment from him. He instructed him on two things. He said, one is to spread the hand of compassion on the orphan's head, and the other is to feed the hungry poor.
This treatment mentioned by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is based on a special principle of psychology, rather it should be said that this principle is supported and confirmed by the statement of the Prophet ﷺ, that principle is that if a person's soul or heart If there is no particular state, and he wants to create it, then one of his strategies is to adopt the signs and essentials of that state, God willing, after some time, that state will also be blessed. The method of frequent dhikr to create the love of Allah Ta'ala in the heart, which is practiced by the Sufis, is also based on this principle.
However, turning your hand on the head of an orphan and feeding the poor is actually one of the signs of mercy, but when someone's heart is empty of this feeling, if he starts doing this act out of fear, then God willing A state of mercy will also arise in the heart.
