ISLAMIC URDU PAKISTAN
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Sayyiduna Huzaifah, may God bless him and grant him peace, that the Master of Science, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "By him! In Whose Power is my soul, you must keep enjoining good and forbidding evil, otherwise it is near that Allah will send His punishment upon you, then you will pray to Him, but your prayer will be accepted. will not be done. "
Disadvantages of forsaking good deeds:
In the above-mentioned hadith, it is stated that people will be protected from the punishment of God as long as they continue to perform the duty of enjoining good and forbidding evil.
But when this responsibility is neglected, then everyone will suffer from the wrath of Allah, and every special and general person will be covered by this punishment, and in such a situation, supplicating in the presence of Allah is also a task. will not come thumbnail
This hadith has explained it with great clarity in this hadith, how great a crime it is to commit adultery with the responsibility of ``Amr bi al-Mruf and Nahi an al-Munkar.'' The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Either you have to perform this duty or you will have to face the punishment of Allah, and even if you pray after that, it will not be accepted. This is a very strict promise, that is, until you make up for your mistake and ask for forgiveness from Allah Ta'ala, none of your supplications will be accepted. In this hadith, the commandment was also mentioned with oaths and emphatic expressions, and the emphatic form was also used to mention punishment, which indicates its importance and the certainty of punishment in case of non-fulfilment. "([1])
The generalization of evil:
It has been stated in the above-mentioned hadith that in case of not enjoining good and not forbidding evil, punishment will be revealed and then even supplication will not be accepted at that time. Allama Muhammad bin Allan Shafi'i, peace be upon him, may God have mercy on him, says: "This chastisement occurs in the form of the oppression of the rulers or the enemy gaining power, or in the form of other calamities and pains, and then even the supplication is not accepted because the wisdom is divine that it He has appointed this punishment as a reward for your failure to abandon the commandment of good and forbidding evil. There is an argument in this holy hadith that when an evil is not prohibited, its evil becomes common and its punishment reaches all those who sin and those who do not. In this chapter, Umm al-Mu'minin, Hazrat Zainab bint Jahsh, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated a pure hadith, in which it was also stated that in the case of abandoning the call to goodness, punishment will be revealed even in the presence of the righteous. Yes, if people continue to do Nahi-an-ul-Munkar according to their ability, then this action of theirs will remove this punishment. ([2])
Never abandon the invitation to goodness:
Prayer is the weapon of the believer that helps him in every difficulty. If a person has any kind of pain or trouble, he prays to God Almighty and asks for relief from this pain, and as soon as the prayer is accepted, he gets relief from this trouble and trouble, but by abandoning the call to good and doing evil. The punishment that comes due to not forbidding is not averted even by prayer. Therefore, inviting good and forbidding evil should never be abandoned.
"Troubles and sufferings that come upon a person are averted by dua, but the punishment that comes from abandoning what is enjoined and forbidden is not averted even by dua." ([3])
We pray to Allah (swt) to grant us the ability to always perform the important duty of inviting good and forbidding evil, and to protect us from abandoning it. Amen
