Description

Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, whom He wishes for good, causes him to suffer."
The meaning of the holy hadith is that Allah causes a Muslim to suffer in order to reward him for it. It was narrated from Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal that "When Allah loves a nation, He causes them to suffer, so the one who is patient will have patience, and the one who is (impatient) will be punished." (Musnad Imam Ahmad, Baqee Musnad Al-Ansar, 9/160, Hadith: 23695) There are great tidings in these blessed hadiths for the believer, because sometimes a person will suffer due to illness or grief. Illness, grief, pain, physical or mental suffering, all of them erase the sins of the believer.

By patience, a person reaches where he cannot reach by other acts of worship. (Marat al-Munajih, 2/410)

In the mentioned Hadith, it is encouraged to be patient in the face of adversity, the coming of adversity is a sign of good, so when an adversity comes, one should act patiently, do not bring the words of complaints and complaints on one's tongue, nor do people's words. Concern should be expressed in front, because being patient with trouble is the reason for the erasure of sins and elevation of ranks.
