Description

On the authority of Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar RA, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, ascended the pulpit, and he called out in a loud voice and said, O people who have brought Islam with their tongues and whose hearts have not yet fully established faith, Muslim servants. Refrain from persecuting and embarrassing and shaming them, and from following their hidden faults, for Allah's law is that whoever follows the hidden faults of his Muslim brother and wants to disgrace him. If so, then Allah will be behind his faults, and whoever is behind the faults of Allah, He will certainly disgrace him (and he will remain disgraced) even if it is within his own house. (Comprehensive Tirmidhi)

Interpretation
When true faith descends upon one's heart, the natural consequence is that one becomes more concerned about one's own end, and one becomes wary of the rights of Allah and the rights of His servants, especially Allah. He becomes even more careful about those servants who have joined their relationship with Allah through true faith, persecuting them, giving them heartache, shaming them by mentioning their past sins, and He refrains from focusing on the hidden weak aspects of life, but if the truth of faith has not come down in the heart, and there are only words of Islam on the tongue, then the condition of a person is the opposite. Seeks out, especially those servants of Allah who have established a relationship of faith and obedience with Allah, wants to bring them down from the eyes of the people, publicizes their mistakes, discredits them and Wants to humiliate. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has informed such people in this hadith, that they should desist from this act, to abandon the practice of defaming the believing servants of Allah and degrading their status and exposing their hidden weak aspects. Otherwise, they will be humiliated in this world before the Hereafter, and the blow of humiliation and disgrace will definitely fall on them. The face of the wall will be disgraced.
