Hazrat Ubaid bin Rafa'ah narrated from the father of Majid Hazrat Rafa'ah that he narrated this hadith from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "The merchants will be raised as evildoers on the Day of Resurrection." except for those (God-fearing and God-fearing) merchants who will conduct piety and good conduct and truth in their trade. (Al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Abi Ibn Majah, Musnad Darmi)
Maarif Hadith 339



It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah Bahli that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: There is room for every trait in the character and nature of a believer, except for betrayal and lying. (Musnad Ahmad, Shab Al-Iman for Bayhaqi)

Interpretation
This means that if a believer is truly a believer, there can be no room for lies and betrayal in his nature, other evils and weaknesses may exist in him, but pure hypocritical habits such as betrayal and lies cannot be combined with faith. If someone has these bad habits, then he should understand that he has not yet been blessed with the truth of faith, and if he does not want to be satisfied with his deprivation, then he should keep his life free from these bad habits.
