ISLAMIC URDU PAKISTAN
Hazrat Aamir Rami (R.A.) says that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) mentioned diseases (once), so he (PBUH) said that when a believer suffers from a disease and then Allah Ta'ala relieves him of that disease, that disease (Not only that) it is expiation for his past sins (but) it is an admonition for the future. That is, the disease warns him. (So he avoids future sins) And when a hypocrite is sick and then he is relieved of his illness, his example is like that of a camel that was tied by its owner and then released, and the camel did not know it. Why did the owner tie him up and why did he leave him? (Hearing this) a person said: O Messenger of Allah! What is disease? I never got sick! You said! Get up from us! You are not one of us!
Explanation:
A believer is warned after recovering from an illness, because he understands that he was afflicted with the illness because of his sins, so he not only feels ashamed and repents for his past sins, but also for future sins. On the contrary, the condition of a hypocrite is that when he recovers from an illness, his example is exactly like that of a camel which, if tied by its owner, does not know why it is tied, and if it is released, it does not know why. So do not understand why I have been left. However, a hypocrite is not warned because of illness, neither does he take advice and admonishment, nor does he repent of his sins out of remorse and shame. For it is a cause of advice and lesson so that they can avoid sins (RA) Prophet ﷺ's statement "You are not among us" means that you are not among the people of our way, because you have not been afflicted with diseases and calamities in the same way as we have been afflicted.
