Description

Hazrat Usamah bin Sharik (RA) says that some of the Companions said: O Messenger of Allah! Should we treat the disease with medicine? The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yes, servants of Allah, give medicine and treatment, because Allah has not created any disease that He has not cured, except for one disease, and that is old age." (Ahmed, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, )

Explanation:
o the men of Allah ! By addressing the Companions with these words, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) seemed to indicate that taking treatment and taking means to remove the disease is not contrary to worship and trust, provided that one does not rely on the treatment alone, but on the medicine. Consider only a necessary cause and means of healing and the real healer should be known only to Allah Almighty.

Mishkut al-Masabih 4428

Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) says that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said. Allah Ta'ala has sent down disease and medicine and prescribed medicine for every disease and medicine for every disease. (Abu Dawud)
Mishkut al-Masabih 4434

Hazrat Abdullah bin Masoud (RA) says that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said. Make the two healing things obligatory on yourself, one is honey and the other is the Qur'an. Both of these hadiths have been narrated by Ibn Majah and Bahiqi in Shab al-Iman, and Bahiqi has said that the second hadith (i.e. Peace be upon you) is not a marfoo (saying of the Holy Prophet) but is based on Ibn Masoud (R.A.). That is, they have their own opinion.

Explanation:
This virtue of honey is because it is proven by the Holy Qur'an that it has healing properties, as Allah the Almighty has said, "Fih Shifa Lalnas". That is, there is healing for people in it, and the Holy Qur'an itself is healing and mercy for the human universe, as Allah Almighty said in the verse (Hadi wa shifa alma fi al-sudur) But the difference between the two is that honey is only a cure for external physical diseases, while the Holy Quran is a cure for both external and internal diseases, that is, body and soul.
