Description

Hazrat Jandab (RA) is the narrator that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) made this statement. A person from this Ummah or from the previous Ummahs said: By Allah! Allah will not forgive such and such a person. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) narrated that Allah said: Who is there who swears by Me and says that I will not forgive such and such a person and knows that I have forgiven that person? And wasted your deeds, that is, lied to your oath. (Muslim)

Explanation:
A person used to commit a lot of sins and another person said about him that Allah will not forgive him. Just as some ignorant Sufis do not think well of sinners, although such people do not know that the mercy of Allah is very wide and general, His sinful servants also find shelter under His feet and He forgives them. The result is that the swearer's belief that he was not forgiven was rebuked, so that his oath was falsified and the person was forgiven. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to say about any person that he is heavenly! It is not permissible to say that the people who are in Hell are not permissible. Yes, there is no problem in calling the people who are clearly in Paradise or Hell in the Qur'an and Hadith.

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) says that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who makes Istighfar obligatory upon himself." So Allah Ta'ala makes a way out of every difficulty for him. And relieves him from every sorrow and grief and brings him pure and lawful sustenance from a place where he does not even think. (Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah)

Explanation:
Make Istighfar obligatory on yourself. It means that whenever a sin is committed or any calamity or suffering appears, he should ask for forgiveness! Or the meaning of this is that seeking forgiveness should be continuous and permanent because there is no moment in life in which a person is not in need of seeking forgiveness. Tubi liman wajd per saifah istighfara kathira. Happy is the person who found abundance of forgiveness in his deeds. The basis of the above-mentioned virtue in the hadith is that the person who makes Istighfar obligatory on himself, his heart's connection with Allah and his trust in the Self of Allah is stable and strong, and his sins are forgiven. As a result of which he is counted among those who fear Allah and those who trust in Allah, about whom the Almighty has said this.
