Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (RA) says that one night we sat for a long time for the Isha prayer and waited for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came after a third of the night or more, and we do not know whether he (ﷺ) was engaged in household chores (that he did not come to pray early as usual) or whether he (ﷺ) was Aqdas had an excuse) The Holy Prophet came and said: You people were waiting for the prayer (and it was appropriate for you because) what are you doing waiting for the prayer? Other than you, people of other religions did not wait for prayer. And if I didn't have the fear of falling on my Ummah, I would always offer this prayer at the same time. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, ordered (the Takbeer), he said the Takbeer, and he, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, led the prayer. (Sahih Muslim) Mishkut Sharif 581 ​Hazrat Ali Karamullah is the narrator that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say on the day of Ghazwa Khandaq that (the infidels) have prevented us from performing the middle prayer, i.e. Asr. May Allah fill their houses and graves with fire. (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) ​Explanation: Ghazwa Khandaq is also called Ghazwa Ahzab which took place in 4 AH or 5 AH. This battle is called Ghazwa Khandaq because on the occasion of this Ghazwa, a trench was dug around Madinah on the advice of Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) to protect them from the enemies. Just as other sincere believers used to stay hungry and thirsty all day and were engaged in this hard work for the protection of the religion of Allah and the success of the mission of their beloved Prophet ﷺ, in the same way, the master of the world, the proud of the world, Mr. Muhammad Rasulullah ﷺ. They used to dig trenches along with their valiant comrades by bearing great hardships and pains, by tying stones on their stomachs due to hunger, suffering from severe cold and hard work of removing stones to dig the earth. In the same battle, four prayers of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam were missed due to delay and archery, among them was Asr prayer. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said this bad dua to show the virtue of Asr prayer, which meant that the way he The infidels and polytheists have made us suffer severe spiritual pain and agony by canceling our prayers. A small difference can be made here that on the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was caused immense pain by the infidels, then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not curse there and cursed here, what is the reason for this? The shortest answer to this is that in the battle of Uhud, there was the matter of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), there was a requirement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not to make bad supplication for anyone in the matter of his soul, but here there was a question of prayer, which is related to It was not from his self, but from the rights of Allah, that is why he said bad. This hadith proves that salat is the prayer of the middle of the afternoon, so this is the opinion of most of the Companions, may Allah have mercy on them, and the followers of the Prophet, may Allah have mercy on them, such as Imam Azam Abu Hanifa, Imam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy on them, etc. Therefore, the holy verse of the Holy Qur'an (Hafizuwa ali salwat wa salwawa al-wasta) 2. Al-Baqarah 238) (i.e. protect all the prayers and the middle prayer) will mean the middle prayer. As for the fact that most of the Companions and the Companions have disagreed in its determination, the reason for this is apparently that the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (which is coming in the next chapter) has not reached these gentlemen until that time. ) would not have arrived, which clearly shows that the Asr prayer is meant by the middle prayer. Therefore, those gentlemen will differ in its determination based on their ijtihad and opinion, so after the authenticity of this hadith, it was determined that it refers to Asr praye
