Description

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah narrates that a villager came to the service of Rasoolullah and asked, “O Rasoolullah! Tell me a deed by which I will enter Paradise. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Worship Allaah, do not associate anyone with Him, perform the obligatory prayers, pay the obligatory zakaah and fast in Ramadaan. Hearing this, the villager said: But I will do more or less of it. When the villager left, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever wants to have the happiness and pleasure of seeing a man in Paradise, let him see him. (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Mushkoot Sharif 13

Hazrat Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked you or the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) to tell me something that will take me to Paradise and protect me from the fire of Hell. He said: The truth is that you have What is the question of a great thing, but it is very easy for him whom Allah makes easy? Then he said: Worship Allah and do not associate anyone with Him. Fast and perform Hajj to the Ka'bah. Then he said: O Mu'adh! Shall I not lead you to the gates of goodness? Fasting is a shield (which protects you from sin and protects you from the fire of Hell). As water extinguishes the fire (and so does) the prayer of the believer in the night (tahajjud) (removes the sin) then you recited this verse (in which the virtue of those who perform tahajjud and worship Allah at night It is narrated and the translation of the whole verse is that (the believers) stay away from their beds (in the night) (and) they call upon their Lord in fear and despair, and what We have given them. Out of it they spend (in the way of Allah). No soul knows that the coolness of the eyes is hidden for them (the righteous believers). That is the reward of their deeds. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Shall I not show you the head of this thing (ie religion) and the height of its pillars and its elbows? I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" Must tell He said: The head of this thing (religion) is Islam, its pillar is prayer and the height of this elbow is jihad. Then he said: Shall I not tell you the root of all these things? I said, "Yes, the Prophet of Allah must tell you." He grabbed his blessed tongue and said (pointing to it), "Keep it closed." I said, 'O Prophet of Allah, every word we utter from our tongues will be blamed.' (Dua Thaktak Amk) (Let your mother lose you, know that well) (This is a proverb which is spoken in Arabic to express surprise). People will have the (evil) words of the same language that will throw them into Hell on their faces or on their foreheads.
