Description

Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar Farooq (RA) narrates that the Prophet (SAW) said: Islam is based on five things. The first is to confess with one's heart and testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the servant and messenger of Allah. Fasting the fifth of Ramadan. (Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) Mushkoot Sharif 3


Hazrat Anas bin Malik Raza says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: No one of you can become a (perfect) believer until I love him more than his father, his children and all the people. (Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) Mushkoot Sharif 6


Hazrat Abu Hurayrah It is said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: There are more than seventy branches of faith, the highest of which is the confession of the tongue and the heart that there is no god but Allah, and the lowest of the branches is the removal of a painful thing from the path. Giving and shame are also a branch of faith. (Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
