Description

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Upon hearing this instruction of the Holy Prophet (saw), Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, my coat hangs down if I do not take care of it. They do it out of pride. (Sahih Bukhari)

Description
From this hadith it is clear that if one's apron or pajamas fall below the ankles due to carelessness then it is not a sin. Scholars have written that it is haraam to wear an apron or pajamas below the ankles out of pride and arrogance and that is the promise of Hell and if it is only due to habit and fashion then it is makrooh and due to inadvertent carelessness and inattention. If this happens then there is no blame or reprimand on him, sorry.


It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Allah is pleased with the action of His servant that he eats something and praises Allah and gives thanks to Him or drinks something and praises Allah for it and Be thankful (Sahih Muslim)
