Description

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar that a man came to the service of the Messenger of Allah and said: Hazrat! I have committed a great sin, so can my repentance be accepted (and I can be forgiven)? You asked: Is your mother alive? He replied: There is no mother. He said: Do you have any aunt? He replied: Yes, there is an aunt. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Then serve him and treat him well (Allaah will accept your repentance with His blessings and will forgive you). (Jami 'al-Tirmidhi)

Description
What is repentance? Repent of your sins and ask forgiveness from Allah, so that you may be saved from the wrath of Allah and from the punishment for which you have deserved it. Give and be satisfied with it. Thus, the characteristic of all good deeds is that they remove the filthy effects of sins and attract the favor and mercy of Allah. From this hadith it is known that the service of parents as well as the service of aunts and grandmothers is one of the deeds by which Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of the great sinners and black doers and is pleased with them.
