Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (RA) narrates that Sarkar Do Aalam said: Whoever learns this knowledge from which the pleasure of Allah is sought, so that he may acquire worldly pleasures through it, then on the Day of Resurrection he will not even have the fragrance of Paradise. (Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Abu Dawu, Ibn Majah)
Description:
This promise is being uttered for anyone who acquires the knowledge of religion only for the sake of gaining wealth and honor of the world through it and making it a means for the attainment of the world. Yes, if the knowledge is not religious then it is worldly, then for this purpose it will be used as a means and means of livelihood for the world. Is not considered valid by Shariah. For example, astrology, etc., or other sciences that affect belief and practice. To say in this hadeeth that a scholar whose intention in acquiring knowledge is not purely pleasing to Allah will not be able to enjoy the fragrance of Paradise That is, such a person will not enter Paradise without punishment, along with his sincere and close servants.
