Description

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (RA) narrates that Sarkar Do Aalam (RA) said: When a person dies, the chain of reward for his deeds is cut off from him, but the chain of reward for three things remains. (1) Ongoing charity (2) Knowledge from which to benefit (3) Righteous children who pray for it after death. (Sahih Muslim)

Description:
Deeds which are related to the worldly life, their effects disappear in the world after death, such as prayers, fasting, etc. There are deeds that were performed in the life of a person, although their reward remains the same that they Accumulations are made in the Hereafter and after death they are rewarded, but their chain does not continue after death. Because in life, as long as these deeds were done, the reward was given to him. But there are also some deeds whose reward is not only found in life but also after death. Regarding such deeds, it is being narrated in this hadith that there are three deeds in which the reward continues even after the end of life and the one who dies continues to benefit from it. The first thing is the ongoing charity, that is, if a person has dedicated the land in the way of Allah or has built a well or a pond or has left something else behind for the benefit of such creatures of Allah, then as long as these things last It will continue and people will continue to benefit from it, it will continue to receive equal reward. The second thing is that knowledge is beneficial, that is, a scholar died who used to benefit people with his knowledge in his life and then he preserved his knowledge through a book which is always useful for people and for growth and guidance. Caused or made a disciple of a man who is the rightful inheritor of his knowledge from which people can benefit, then all these things are such that after the end of life there will be capital and happiness for him and whose He will continue to receive the same reward there. The third thing is good children After his death, it becomes a means of salvation and well-being for him and in such a way that a worthy and virtuous boy goes to the graves of his parents, recites the Fatiha, prays for forgiveness, recites the Qur'an and forgives them. Gives alms and charity from the side and obviously all these things are the cause of reward for the dead by which he succeeds in the hereafter.
