Description

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It is enough for a person to tell a lie and copy what he hears (without research). (Sahih Muslim)

Description:
This means that if a person does not tell a lie but his habit is that he copies something without listening and researching and makes it famous among the people, then this is a lot of lying, because trust in what is heard. Doing so and spreading it without research is the first step of a lie. A person who is addicted to such a habit will surely fall under the curse of a lie because not everything he hears is true and there are some lies. If he imitates a lie with the truth, then he is also a liar. In fact, its purpose is to prevent that something which is not known and its authenticity should not be stated or publicized. (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Sarkar-e-Do Aalam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
