Description

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Beware of deadly and destructive sins. What are those seven sins? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Associating partners with Allaah (in worship or attributes or deeds), and practicing sorcery, and killing a person unjustly and taking usury, and eating the property of orphans and (to save one's life). Leaving Lashkar-e-Islam in Jihad and fleeing and accusing Allah of fornication. (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

Description
Like other countries and nations of the world, the Arabs also had a tradition of usury transactions, and like our smoky Mahajans here, some capitalists used to do this business, the common practice of which was that the needy people He would take a loan from and decide that he would repay this amount with such an increase till some time. Then if the borrower could not pay on time, he would have taken more time and the amount of interest would have been increased in the calculation of this time. In this way the burden of the poor debtors would increase and the usurious moneylenders would continue to suck their blood. Obviously, this was against the spirit of Islam and its spirit. The teaching and guidance of Islam, on the contrary, is to help the poor, to support the weak and to meet the needs of the needy, and not for any worldly gain, but only for the pleasure of Allah and To be done for the reward of the Hereafter.
