Description

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to him and said: Advise me. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I advise you to fear Allaah, because that is the beginning of all matters, and it is obligatory upon you to wage jihad because it is the monasticism of Islam, and make remembrance of Allaah and recitation of the Qur'aan obligatory. Because it is a source of mercy for you in heaven and a source of good remembrance for you on earth. The correct series 1351

Hazrat Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Beware of small sins, the example of which is that some people camped in a valley and gathered small sticks and baked bread. In the same way, when the sinner commits small sins, those sins destroy him.
