Description

It is narrated from Abu Kabshah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The world is for four people only. He fears Allah Almighty, makes merciful rewards and recognizes the right of Allah Almighty related to him. This man is of the highest rank. So, expressing good wishes, he says: If I had wealth, I would do good deeds like somebody, they both have equal reward. Given, so he spends his wealth recklessly and without thinking and does not fear Allah Almighty about it, nor does he give merciful reward nor does he recognize the right of Allah Almighty related to it. He is of inferior status, and (1) the man to whom Allah Almighty has given neither wealth nor knowledge, but puts the character of this inferior man in front and says: If I had wealth, I would do such and such thing. This is his intention. Musnad Ahmad 9614
