Hazrat Sohaib (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was sitting with his companions. Suddenly smiled The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Would you not ask why I smiled? The companions said: O Messenger of Allah! Why do you smile? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I am pleased with the matter of the believer. The whole thing is good. When he finds something he likes, he gives thanks to Allah, and it is better for him. He is patient if he is confronted with something he does not like, and it is better for him. Apart from the believer, there is no one whose whole affair is good. The correct series 3281
Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Man has one time with Allah. If that person does not reach this level by any action, then Allah Almighty gives him such trials which he dislikes, even though Allah Almighty brings him to this level.

Hazrat Abu Imam (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When a servant falls ill, Allah Almighty reveals to His angels: O my angels! I have bound my servant in one of my chains. If I seize him, I will forgive him, and if I give him health, he will get up and sit down, and he will have no sin left. The correct series 3253.
