PAKISTAN NAVY ANNUAL SAFETY REVIEW 2023 HELD AT KARACHI

#PakistanNavy Annual Safety Review 2023 was held at #BahriaAuditorium #Karachi. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Safety Review is organized annually to create #safetyawareness, inculcate #safetyculture and promote safe working environment in #PakNavy.

While addressing the ceremony. Chief of the Naval Staff highlighted that #Pakistan #Navy is cognizant of regional developments and is maintaining perpetual readiness and presence in critical spaces of our #maritime Area of Responsibility to respond to any emerging threat. PN is also enhancing its regional outlook by maintaining continuous presence in the international waters and engagements with regional partners to improve integration and interoperability with them. As we expand our outreach, it is important not to lose sight of implemented safety procedures and SOPs in all our operations to ensure optimum state of both men and material at all times.

Chief of the Naval Staff commended all field commands for upholding highest standards of safety. He also praised the panels involved for conducting objective analysis and providing valuable recommendations.

Later, Chief of the Naval Staff gave away Safety Trophies and awards to the prize winners, recognizing their outstanding contributions and achievements in promoting safety within Pakistan Navy.

A day earlier, PN Annual Safety Seminar 2024 was held on 8 July 24 at Karachi. Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami graced the occasion as #ChiefGuest. Selected panels from field commands presented papers on various safety aspects and latest trends to promote safety culture in PN.

The event was attended by a large number of Officers, CPOs/ sailors and Navy Civilians of Pakistan Navy.
