Unveiling Ceremony of Urban Electric Vehicle under the auspices of PNEC held at Karachi

The students and faculty of #PakistanNavy Engineering College (#PNEC) unveiled Urban #ElectricVehicle named AZAD-E in an impressive ceremony held at #Karachi.

Managing Director #PakistanNavyDockyard Rear Admiral Mazhar Mehmood Malik was Chief Guest on the occasion. Ceremony was attended by Commandant #Pakistan #Navy #EngineeringCollege (PNEC) Commodore Tauqeer Ahmad Khawaja alongside industrial and corporate dignitaries, academicians, sponsors and students' families.

Speaking at the event, Commandant PNEC highlighted that students of PNEC has a legacy of creating quality projects in various academic disciplines. Students society of the institute 'Team Envision PNEC- #NUST' has developed 14 Urban vehicles so far and students of PNEC-NUST have represented the institute on various forums Nationally and internationally. He apprised that students of PNEC are set to represent Pakistan at #TeknofestEfficiencyChallenge at #Turkiye in September 24 to showcase the unveiled #UrbanElectricVehicle.

MD #Dockyard also lauded the efforts of PNEC students on preparation of an international standard #fuelefficient urban vehicle. He highlighted that considering fuel prices vis-a-vis global environment poised on minimal #carbonfootprint vehicles, the creation of projects like #electric #urbanvehicles is need of the hour. He also lauded the efforts of PNEC in supporting the young talent particularly by providing them conducive learning atmosphere. He assured that academic institutions under the auspices of #PakNavy will continue to support youth in there endeavors.
